Many of Sampleminded’s employees have various interesting hobbies and side gigs, and now we can add College Professor to the list.
Daniel Steenblik, Founder and VP of Engineering, will be teaching CMPT 322 Software Engineering as an adjunct professor at Westminster College in Salt Lake City for the Spring 2016 Semester.
The team-oriented Software Engineering course aims to prepare junior and senior Computer Science majors to develop software in the real world. It will focus on agile software development methodologies, include guest speakers from the software industry, and guide students in the design and architecture of large software systems.
“It is so rewarding watching the students grow into inventors who are entirely responsible for the creation and success of their own ideas,” says Dan. “I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.”
