Seasoned Business Leader & Molecular Diagnostics Expert to Expand Company’s LIS & CLINOPS Reach
SALT LAKE CITY—November 8, 2016—Sampleminded is pleased to name Christina Goleman as Vice President of business development. Goleman brings her years of business leadership experience in healthcare, laboratory science, and analytics to the Salt Lake City-based company.
Sampleminded, a proven leader in comprehensive products and services for laboratory and clinical specimen and data management, will look to Goleman to expand the company’s reach among clinical research and diagnostic laboratories worldwide.
With experience and background in diagnostics and software development, Goleman has provided market-growth and leadership expertise to companies such as TriCore Reference Laboratories. As Chief business development officer for the $160 million-dollar organization, she championed healthcare solutions that helped payers, providers, and health systems enhance patient and member satisfaction and performance standards. As senior project manager of operations for Verisk Health, she managed full-scale operational teams for analytics and reporting. While at ARUP Laboratories, Goleman worked with business development, marketing, sales, and operations to bring about genetics- and oncology-focused initiatives. And as business development officer at start-up GNI, she oversaw growth, marketing, and vendor/customer relationships.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have someone with Christina’s experience, energy, and vision join our team at Sampleminded,” said David Fuhrman, Sampleminded CEO. “She’s not only adept at business development, but she’s also a passionate scientist at heart—someone who shares Sampleminded’s commitment to improving patient outcomes around the world, by improving the systems and processes that support their healthcare.”
“I’m looking forward to working closely with the bright minds and dedicated talent at Sampleminded,” said Goleman. “I made the move to Sampleminded because they have built an outstanding reputation among international clinical trials, diagnostics, and research communities. This is the kind of company that partners with its clients, working side-by-side—caring as much about the people its products impact, as the products themselves.”
